Each one of us has the potential to cultivate
a "dark side" if we are so-inclined. I could spend
hours and days plotting revenge on my ex. But it would turn me into
a spiteful person who is destroying herself with hatred. Instead, I choose to let go of hate, focusing
instead on renewal. I think of every situation as an opportunity for personal growth rather than another crisis caused by the ex. It is an act of faith that offers many rewards to the survivor.
